    This is my first time at this location. It is a long drive from where I in North Aurora but I will make the drive again! I am enjoying my meal!

    This food when actually fresh is good. My hubby and I come here every couple of months. Every single time I get let down. It's the only soul food around my hometown in west suburbs. It's like they charge sooo much but the food sits out soo long it's old and nasty. The corn bread is always burnt, the catfish should not be soo crunchy and they should not allow the food to sit out soooo long. $14.99 and they dont even give you a decent portion size. They should reevaluate how they run things in there for what they are charging. Nobody wants chewy old sweet potatoes and old greens with burnt and crunchy fish! What a waste of money.

    Please don't expend any energy getting to this establishment. We were given a recommendation from someone at Stardust Bowl. Which was a 20 minute ride. Arrived about 30 minutes before closing, not a good idea. I ordered the smothered pork chops w/white rice and collard greens. The gravy was definitely from a jar, the pork chops were not seasoned and the greens not good.
    Maybe I should have ordered something else!

    I like this place.  Fiance brought me here for some "soul food".  Looked like normal food to me.  Yeah, white people cook and eat this same stuff too lol.  Anyways, we took our food home.  Ordered chicken, fish, turkey, and many sides.  All was great!   Felt like something your grandma would make.  Service was friendly and fast and all the food was very tasty!  4 stars!

    $22.00 for a full meal. Very expensive and food was average to below average. The best item was the mac and cheese - which was very cheesy. The corn was inedible - strange taste. The corn muffins tasted like they were from a mix and were dry. The peach cobbler tasted horrible, was doughy and undercooked - after one bite, got thrown out. First and last visit.
